Composé de 5 DJs (Freakistan, James Stewart, Chylorama, Patchworks) et produit par ce dernier, nous avons posé 5 questions au lyonnais Voilaaa. Rencontre : 

#1 RK: Voilaaa mais mais... qui êtes vous ?  

VL: Un collectif qui allie des chanteurs, des djs et un producteur (moi même). Nous sommes basés dans les pentes de la Croix Rousse, à Lyon.  Nos disques sortent chez Favorite Recordings et nous nous produisons sur scène en format sound-system.  

#2 RK: "François va te laver", expérience vécue ??  

VL: J'ai écrit ce morceau en une nuit parce qu'il fallait que j évacue le trop plein d'agacement provoqué par l'affaire Fillon pendant la dernière campagne presidentelle. Le mec puait tellement à la radio !!!  

#3 RK: Pourriez vous présenter les différents artistes avec qui vous avez collaborés, notamment Pat Kalla, Sir Jean & Fouley Badiaga ?  

VL: Les djs :  Chylorama, Freakistan, Boolimix, James Stewart. Les chanteurs : Sir Jean : top chanteur historique de notre quartier avec une très longue et belle carrière derrière lui....à voir absolument sur scène avec son projet afrobeat "NMB" ! Fouley Badiaga et Jennifer Hawa : toutes deux d'ascendesence ouest africaine, on a beaucoup tourné ensemble sous le nom "Hawa" (Soul Music). nouveau projet ensemble sous le nom "Da Break" à sortir en 2018 ! Lassana Sané : il vient de Casamance (Senegal), et c'est le dernier arrivé dans l'équipe. On travaille ensemble sur son futur album solo qui sera très teinté afro latin, Dakar style" !  Pat Kalla : c'est avec lui que nous tournons avec le Voilaaa Sound System. Ce mec a un super feeling avec le public....idem, album solo en finition......j'ai hâte de faire tourner le son !  à noter aussi, le chanteur congolais Renaud Bilombo, prodige de la Sanza, ou encore Adama Dembele, Burkinabé, invité au N'goni !  Je précise que tous ces chanteurs sont lyonnais....Lyon est un vivier inépuisable de talents !  

#4 RK: Vous vous faites rare médiatiquement parlant (par ailleurs merci pour cet ITW), j'ai lu quelque part que c'était une volonté pour vous d'être discret à ce niveau là ?  

VL: en effet, étant donné que je sors beaucoup de disque, j'évite de trop me montrer....Ma musique est bien diffusée sans que j'ai besoin d'en rajouter...

#5 RK: Le futur et projets de Voilaaa ?

VL: les albums solo des chanteurs : (Pat Kalla, Lass, Da Break). et bien entendu, les dates avec le Voilaaa Sound System

RK: Voilaaa but ... who are you?

VL: A collective that combines singers, DJs and a producer (myself). We are based in the slopes of the Croix Rousse, in Lyon. Our recordings are released at Favorite Recordings and we perform on stage in sound-system format.

RK: "François va te laver (François will wash you)", experience lived ??

VL: I wrote this piece in one night because I had to evacuate the overflow of annoyance provoked by the Fillon affair during the last president's campaign. The guy stank so much on the radio !!!

RK: Could you introduce the various artists you collaborated with, such as Pat Kalla, Sir Jean & Fouley Badiaga?

VL: The djs: Chylorama, Freakistan, Boolimix, James Stewart. The singers: Sir Jean: top historical singer of our neighborhood with a very long and beautiful career behind him .... to see absolutely on stage with his afrobeat project "NMB"! Fouley Badiaga and Jennifer Hawa: both of West African ascendesence, we played a lot together under the name "Hawa" (Soul Music). new project together under the name "Da Break" to be released in 2018! Lassana Sané: he comes from Casamance (Senegal), and is the last one in the team. We work together on his future solo album which will be very tinted afro latin, Dakar style "Pat Kalla: it is with him that we turn with the Voilaaa Sound System.This guy has a great feeling with the public. , solo album in finish ...... I can not wait to make the sound turn to note also Congolese singer Renaud Bilombo, prodigy of Sanza, or Adama Dembele, Burkinabe, invited to N'goni! specifies that all these singers are Lyonnais .... Lyon is an inexhaustible breeding ground of talents!

RK: You make yourself rarely media-speaking (otherwise thank you for this ITW), I read somewhere that it was a desire for you to be discreet at this level there?

VL: indeed, since I release a lot of disc, I avoid too much to show .... My music is well broadcast without I need to add ...

RK: The future and projects of Voilaaa ?

VL: the solo albums of the singers: (Pat Kalla, Lass, Da Break). and of course, dates with the Voilaaa Sound System
